Chris Jupp was seen at Seacourt Fencing Club on Thursday 11 August flashing round his portrait which he has had taken by a professional photographer. In the studio shot (a part of which is featured on the right) Chris is seen holding the Hampshire Sabre trophy which he won in 2010 and still retains.
Thursday was an evening of mixed fortunes for Chris. Initially he basked in the admiration of his adoring fans by showing them his photo on his iPad (the admiration may have been for the iPad rather than the photo, I’ll leave that to you to speculate). He then went on to work up a sweat fencing steam with the legendary Carl Morris who proclaimed the session, ‘the best fencing I’ve had for ages’. Electric fencing was more variable for Chris though, with some wins and some losses, the most notable of which was his decimation 10-3 at the hands of a woman.
Moving swiftly on, the webmaster at Seacourt would love to hear from you if you have a photo (obviously not as lovely as this one) which you would like featured on our website. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org enclosing a landscape jpeg photo no more than 750 px wide.
