Seacourt is a small and sociable fencing club meeting at Seacourt Tennis Club on Hayling Island.  Our friendly club members warmly welcome sword fencers of all ages from 7 to 70+ and all standards from complete beginner to experienced international. The Senior Club fences every week (apart from the two weeks over Christmas and New Year and during the month of August) on Thursday from 8.30-11pm. Our Junior section (for youngsters aged 7-14) meets on a Wednesday evening from 7-8pm during term time for a fully structured session of fencing tuition.

Supporting and promoting the sport of fencing in the South of England

Seacourt Fencing Club is keen to promote the sport of fencing and plays an active part in the Hampshire Fencing Union and Southern Region.

Fencing facilities at Seacourt

We hire two sports halls for senior fencing which enables us to accommodate six fencing pistes simultaneously of which four can be fully equipped with 3 weapon electric equipment. We have also recently acquired a full length metallic piste for competition training.

Fencing equipment available for any fencer to borrow

The fencing club maintains a large stock of fencing clothing and equipment (foil, épée and sabre) which is freely available for use by any fencer, so all you need to start fencing is a pair of trainers, long tracksuit trousers and a desire to try something different.
