1 September 2014 was the start of the new fencing year at Portsmouth & Southsea.
The evening started with the usual warm up and footwork session followed by free fencing, both electric and steam.
Gordon and Andrew were available to give lessons in all three weapons which gave every club member the chance to hone their skills and progress.
The club was pleased that youngest member, sabreur Harry Paffett, had attended his first competition of the new season at the Leon Paul Centre and hopefully this season will see him go on to work his way up the Junior rankings.
Everyone was also pleased to see Cormac Foley back from his year in Australia, although he will soon be off again – this time to university in Cardiff.
Roll on next week…
