Annual General Meeting Notice
This is the notice that the Annual General Meeting of Portsmouth and Southsea Fencing Club for the 2012 Calendar Year will be held on Monday 21st October at 2000 at Charter Academy Sports Hall.
The proposed agenda is as follows:
- Apologies for Absence
- Acceptance of 2012 Minutes
- Chairman’s report
- Treasurer’s report
- Constitution vote
- Election of officers of the club
- AOB
Please forward any additional items to myself (portsmouth@southhampshirefencing.co.uk) at least seven days prior to the AGM.
An update club constitution has been drafted by the committee. There are no substantial changes to the constitution but it now defines the roles and responsibilities of each of the committee members. This is attached to the notice. The committee propose that this updated constitution is accepted by club members.
All positions on the committee are up for election. However, this year there are a number of committee members not standing again. Nominations for the following positions are particularly welcome:
- Chairperson
- Secretary
- Members reps.
